Casa Com Riso is a 3 bedroom villa located a little over an hour south of Lisbon. Located in an eco resort, the villa is 200 meters to a private beach with a beach bar, and steps away from the large pool and clubhouse.
The popular town of Comporta is an 8 minute drive and hosts several award winning restaurants and world class boutiques all situated within a relaxed unassuming old Portuguese town.
The area is great for horseback riding, hot air balloon rides, and surfing. All along the coast there are amazing beaches and cute little villages. Medieval villages, and wineries are an easy day trip.
Architecture + Interiors
One of the reasons we fell in love with Portugal is the modern architecture that is so prevalent in the Comporta area. The clean, simple lines and natural materials create a relaxing vibe - perfect for a beach house.
The living and dining areas both have large sliding glass doors creating a wonderful flow between the indoors and outdoors, while maintaining privacy. The wooden outdoor deck doubles the size of the house with multiple areas to relax, read a book, or enjoy a glass of local wine.
The villa is decorated with a clean minimal aesthetic that is comfortable and inviting. The color scheme is neutral, punctuated with artwork and colorful blankets made in Portugal.
